What are the precautions before the operation of refrigeration equipment?
Large and medium-sized refrigerating units must abide by safe operation before starting up.
1. Check the records in the computer room to understand the reason for the downtime.
If the machine is normally shut down for more than three days and nights, an experienced operator should be asked to start it up. If the machine has been shut down due to an accident and has been overhauled (including medium repair or overhaul), the person in charge or a technician should be asked to guide the start-up.
2. Compressor inspection:
① For open compressors, check whether there are obstacles in the transmission and running parts, and whether the protection devices are in good condition.
② For compressors equipped with oil sight glass, check whether the berth is normal.
③ For Freon refrigeration compressors equipped with oil heaters, they should be energized and heated before starting up to volatilize the Freon dissolved in the oil, and the oil pump can work normally. The heating time is subject to the provisions in the product manual.
④The pressure gauge valve should be opened, and observe whether the pressure is normal.
⑤If the oil circuit system is equipped with an oil three-way valve, it should be confirmed that the handle of the oil three-way valve is in the working position.
⑥The compressor with energy regulating device or unloading device should be set at the minimum load or no-load position.
⑦ The shaft seal should be checked for the open type. If there is a valve in the oil return pipe of the mechanical shaft seal, it should be opened, and the gland of the stuffed shaft seal should be slightly loosened
3. Check the refrigeration system
Check whether the opening and closing of each manual valve on the refrigeration system pipeline is correct.
4. Check the equipment
Check whether the cut-off valves in front of the safety valves, pressure gauges, liquid level indicators, etc. on each device and the pressure equalizing valves are open. However, the filling valve and oil collector, the Shantou valve on the air release device, and the air release valve should be closed.
5. Check the reservoir
Check whether the refrigerant liquid level in the liquid receiver and other equipment is within the required range
6. Check the water pump and fan
Check whether there are obstacles in the running parts of the water pump and fan, and whether the motor and various equipment are normal.
7. For water-cooled condensers, open the water inlet and outlet valves of the condenser.
For water-cooled condensers, open the condenser water inlet and outlet valves. The horizontal shell and tube condenser closes the drain valve and opens the breather valve.
Start the water pump to supply water to the condenser, the water jacket of the compressor and the crankcase oil cooler, and close it when the vent valve leaks water.
8. Turn on the power and prepare to start.
